Now I have a question for you.  I heard that if you get a funny / custom license plate that it could actually be a small part of targeting you for an IRS audit.  Now, understand, it costs extra to get a custom license plate.  It seems kind of far fetched to me - that getting a custom license plate would be an indicator the IRS would use to find audit targets.  I could understand if a custom license plate was hundreds or thousands of dollars.  But I am pretty sure most places it costs less than $100.  Maybe the IRS was just looking for far-fetched correlates they could use.  Maybe it is just an urban myth.  Anyone out there have a funny custom license plate?  Have you been audited by the IRS or state tax folks?  Let us know in the comments, and send in your funny license plate pictures for us to add here please.  Thanks!
